Can Evie have nutella? I was thinking of putting a bit on toast for her. Also someone told me she can have peanut butter but that doesnt sound right to me...

Dunno... I put peanut butter on lil miss' toast. But I tested her with a bit beforehand... A few days before...she was fine with it and hasn't had any reactions... She loves marmite too. Tbh I was at a loss at what to put on her toast, humus is difficult to make and get here, she went off cream cheese so I wanted to try new things. I didn't want her to have nutella because its chocolate based, but I'm not opposed to it :) . I just wanted something more savoury... But I always make sure that there is only just a smidgin on ... :) Mainly to save mess..

Personally I think that while they are just as happy with sweet or savoury things it is best to keep the sugar away from them.
That said, DD saw me peel a clementine for her this evening and got very excited

I think that as long as you don't have allergies in the family nuts are fine. We do so we can't give either of these and I really want to!

I wouldn't just because its not very healthy and you want to start as you mean to go on kind of thing :)

I didnt realise how bad it was till I read the jar. Evie seems to like tomato based foods more then anything sweet. Appart from blueberries which she goes mad for.

Just so you know, a lot of tomato based foods have added sugar and salt - soup, pasta sauces, those tins with pasta in them.... If you are making things yourself then you will know they have no salt or sugar but I can't think of any bought tomato based product without added sugar and salt.

Isaac breaks out in hives if he has too much tomato sauce. He is fine with fresh tomatos, he has cherry toms everyday with his lunch or dinner, but tom sauce :shakehead: must just be too strong?

I meant home made things with fresh tomato, her fav is salmon and tomato with pasta and cheese :D and the odd tomato and cheese pasta baby food jar. She seems far too interested in the cats food atm tho.
