could someone explain te nub theary to me im googling and getting very confused

From what I can gather is that looking at the nub starting parallel to the spine, if it points about 30 degrees (or more) up then it's a boy and if it is pointing around 30degrees down (towards spine) then it's a girl.

Hence why people think my bub is a boy!

I think it tends to be a little line that runs parallel to the spine and is often whiter/brighter than what lies around it in the scan.

seriously hard to spot the nub!! but sometimes you get a really clear shot! I was so desparate to find out and my scan pics didnt show the nub I had to be patient, which i am NOT good at!

There really isnt much difference at the 12 week scan which is why they say it's more the 'angle of the dangle'

The ingender website guesses nubs and are really good at it.

I've posted mine in there and all of them guessed boy except one so far...hoping for more girl votes lol

The folks on that site are pretty good and seem to get most right. Every single person said boy for mine. I don't mind what we have but was marginally leaning towards a girl. Am now convinced it's a boy!

I couldn't see a nub on any of my scan pics Baby must be shy, it had its legs crossed at the 20 week scan too hehe

I can see why people think boy for you Annie!
