I don't think so. They interfere too much.
Lots of women feed with small nipples/ breasts.
Baby feeds from the areola not the nipple , a nice deep latch is key.
I tried them early on, when I was suffering with one very painful, cracked nipple. My little one has a mega suck, so I was needing to hold it in place while she fed, so it was a bit of a pain in the ass, to be honest. I probably only used them 5/6 Times, but it did just give me a little respite while I was suffering. If I hadn't bought them prior to little ones arrival, I probably would have just gritted my teeth, so perhaps see how you get get on, before getting them.
If you can do it without then don't use them!! I had to use them for 4months as DD wouldn't latch (think it was a lip tie) and it just made life difficult.
Yes!! I love mine. I struggled like mad first time round to feed my son. I was not told about them. This time was given them in hospital and o.m.g what a difference. Lexi instantly latched and I have zero pain.
Ive had to stop breastfeeding anyway but thank you for your replies. Ive got a really bad infection in my csection wound and the antibiotics were upsetting my babys tummy so on advice from the dr and hv ive stopped
