Newbie alert - Hi Ladies

Hi Ladies, My name is Gemma and I found out on friday that I am 6 weeks pregnant. I am over the moon. We have been trying now for three years and nothing. We even went along to the fertility clinic to see what they could do to help. They told me that because I was overweight I would not conceive till I lost weight. I had a miscarriage earlier on this year and since then have lost about a stone. My period was late and I did not even notice, it was my OH who knew the dates. Pregnancy test number one POSTITIVE, number two and three where also positive. So thats us pregnant. We have our first appointment with the midwife team this afternoon, the doctors here dont want to see you, the midwife deals with it all. We think that our due date will be 7th April!!!!!

So wish me luck and I hope to get to know you all a wee bit better over the coming months

Thanks for the welcome ladies. Its really strange we are so excited and we want to tell the world, but as only 6 weeks feel its too early. We have been trying to get pregnant for years xxx

Congrats Hope the appointment went well with the midwife group. I love our group of midwives; make everything so much easier.

Midwife appointment went really well was in there for nearly 2 hours. They could not take blood so I have to wait till my scan where they will try again xxx
