 I've lurked for a little while but have decided to speak up and say hello! I'm Laney, and I'm 35. OH and I were TTC for 2 years and now have baby girl due on 6th September. :)

We have our anomoly can on Monday so I'm feeling a bit nervous about that. We did get have one at babybond a couple of weeks ago as we were a bit anxious that NHS couldn't fit it in between 18 & 21 weeks, like all the bumf said (our nuchal scan was also too late & they couldn't get measurement so we wanted to get this one on time). The private scan was fine though so hopefully Monday will be too.

I'm 21+1 today but still haven't felt baby at all. My scan said the placenta was anterior and after googling and reading a post on here, I'm guessing that's why. I hope I feel her soon. Although I do have a bump I'm desperate for it to feel more real....

I last saw the midwife at 16 weeks and I'm due to see her again at 24 weeks. She has put me down as high risk and to have consultant led care, due to a problem with my back. Jut wondering how that all works... any info would be great!

Thank you!

Laney x

Hi Hun welcome and congratulations , everyone on PF is lovely and really supportive xxx

Hiya  congrats on your pregnancy! I was consultant led with both of mine, basically the consultant just talked to me, with my first they did a few tests, and then decided I was ok to be midwife led abd passed me back!

 congratulations! I was classified as high risk due to my having high bp prior to, and during pregnancy. I panicked at first (not good for my bp lol!) but in reality it meant greater care, with more checks, mre scans, and ultimately, more reassurance that everything was ok :)

Hi welcome to the forum!! Congratulations on ur pregnancy, yeah I was high risk to with bp and previos cs, but yeah just means better care, so thats good! Relax and try and enjoy ur pregnancy, good luck with scan, bet u start feeling babba after that xx :)

Welcome to PF & Congratulations! Hope your scan went well :) I have also got an anterior placenta + I didn't feel my LO at all until I was nearly 22 weeks, so it shouldn't be long to your feel baby kicking away! xx
