new bathroom

Just had to share my insane excitement at the fact that I just ordered my new bathroom!!!!

Loks like it'll be fitted in march and i can't wait

Oh I'm having my bathroom replaced in the summer, I want a huge big jacuzzi bath in there, a seperate shower unit and the toilet/sink pipes etc all hidden in vanity units - what did you go for/colours/tiles etc? Such an intersting topic for me right now. We've seen a nice suite in Homebase, where did yours come from? Sorry......being nosey!!

getting our suite from MFI..had to order it today as sale ends today lol.

We'll be having a semi-pedastal basin, free-standing roll-top bath, standard bog, and a quadrant shower enclosure.

still have to let our tiler know our tile choice....thinking a dark coloured tiled floor...a blue charcoal perhaps and then probably mainly white tiled walls with some blue mosaic. its floor to ceiling tiles so walls have to be quite light.

the one thing that shocked me was how much MFI quoted for installation compared to the plumber we have gone with (who was reccommended by my boss!). basically twice the price!!! I know its because of the convenience and the guarantee that it'll be fitted well, but it still seem way too much!

We had an MFI kitchen fitted back in November, their instillation quote was almost £3k (huge kitchen!) but FIL came and done it for his dinner and a chat!! Bless he saved us a fortune. It will be the same "deal" with the bathroom he's soooo so good with DIY things!!

Kitchen is next on my list after bathroom...moved in 6 months ago and are totally renovating the house despite saying we wouldn't

Your just making me soo jealous i want a new bathroom suite but my DH says no need just now as we just decorated it not long ago
