nervous old newbie

Hello, I'm. Louise, I'm 35 and I'm 8+1 with my 3rd child. I have a girl of 6 and a boy of 5. I had a MMC at 12 wks before my daughter and I've had 2 early miscarriages (5-6 wks) since my son so although I saw a lovely heartbeat at 7+3 I'm still on pins. I used this forums with my first 2 babies so it's great to be back!

wonder if you could help... im 33 with 2 kids, 12yr & a 3yr old.. i miscarried last august.. bee ttc since then. last period was 6th of august, last thurs i started felling really yucky, so by the sat i new if i didnt have a bug, i was pregnant.. so i on sat 1/9/12 i took a pregnancy test and got a very, very faint positive... then took 3 more all the same... next day i got a digital that said pregnant in writting!!! iwas over the moon, but wanted to know for sure i waited till wednesday morning and handed a first morning sample to my docters... today i got my results back and they were negative!!, and im 1 day late.. i dont understand my breasts are soooo sore and just feeling yuck!! i have to hand another sample to the docters on monday... but surely the docters can detect if your pregnant testing only 1 day before period due....... please what do think? il be gutted if im not pregnant xx

I have had the same thing happen to me with all my pregnancies except this one. My Dr told me that their tests aren't always as sensitive as the home tests and it can take until you're a week late for them to work. If you've had a positive on a digital I'd say CONGRATULATIONS!! I did approximately 8 thousand digital tests before believing it xx

thanks for the reply, im just going out of my mind my hubby came in from niteshift this morning with asda own make pregnancy tests... both were negative.. took another digital clear blue and its positive?????? i just dont no, 5 days ago i was getting faint positives from asda own make... and you would think as i have now missed my period it would shown up..... im begining to think im not pregnant, my mind playen tricks, looking for signs on my body that just aren't their!!!!!! guttedxxxxxxxxx so how are you feeling you have had a bit off ruff time too... hope everything going well for you...so happy for you xxxx

Clear blue digital are pretty good. I don't have very good results with like tests but got a positive 1-2 3 days before my period this time. I think the line tests can vary slightly in sensitivity from batch to batch so don't panic. I feel dreadful but I'm loving the reassuring sickness really. Try another cheap brand test if possible because clearblue are pretty good. Sainsburys? Xx

hey, period came today.... so strange... but what will be will be, im lucky to have a boy and a girl... im not going to try anymore, no more ovulation tests, no more stressing!! i cant keep puting my body through this.. so emotional!! heres to happy days lol xxx good luck with ur pregnancy, and enjoy xxx
