Neck lump

Found a lump in the middle of throat under the jaw bone area towards the throat today I can feel it, it must be on the inside but i can feel it from the outside its like a small marble feeling. It doesnt move about it just stays there.
I must admit ive got a cold so it could be a gland but it hurts when i touch it .
If i hadnt of rubbed under my jaw i may have never have found it so im going docs on monday bout something else so if its there then ill mention it.
Every time ive had a cold ive never noticed it before so im abit panacked to be honest.
Anyone had anything like this? xx

Hi hon, def mention to doctor but lots of colds and infections can affect lymph nodes so the odds are it's something very minor - big hugs tho x x x

I had an infection in my salivary gland and got the same sort of lump. I had to wait for an ultra sound and was petrified but it was nothing at all to worry about, I just had large glands due to illness. The lump has taken 6 months to go down. Im sure yours is nothing to worry about too, fx its just because of your cold. x
