Nearly in Labout post...... - Update in 1st Post

Update 1 - I have just been into Labour ward and my hind waters have definately gone so it looks like me and Alex (ASD123456) are twins ha ha, munchkin was monitored as I was worried as movements seemed to have reduced but they are fine as well. I have to go to ante natel day unit tomoz to check bump again and if I havent natural gone into labour then I will be induced on Friday
I am still getting contractions which are all over the place rangeing from every 6 minutes to every 15 minutes, apparently when they checked though my cervix is not dilating yet so cant beleive how much pain I have had with no effect. There was me saying it cant be that bad I do apologise If anything else happens I will let you know, my txt buddies are alex but she will be in the same position as me and Clare (ABCD1234) but not sure if she is on as much now that Tally has arrived so if anyone wants to be a txt buddy for me then please let me know.

Well since early yesterday I was getting stomach cramps and didnt think anything of them, I went to work to visit and ended up helping someone for 4 hours as they were struggling
Wjen I stood up I felt a gush so ran to the tiolet and was soaked through my pantyliner and into my pants so though sh*t I am in work what should I do. I stuffed my pants with tissue and made a sharp exit Rang maternity and they said to keep an eye on it so put in a pad and had one more gush but not alot so thought it cant be my waters.
Whilst all this was gping on I was still getting these pains, quite irregular!!
They were hurting so went to bed at 10.30 only to be wqoke by them again at 1.30 from then I timed them and they varied between 6 and 7 minutes lasting for a minute. It got really bad and my DH sleeped through it all.
I have been up ever since and they lasted like that till about 10 this morning now they have slowed right down to every 15 minutes if I am lucky.
Whilst I was having the contractions I have been losing lots of gunk which has blood tinge to it!!!
I am now absolutely gutted because it has slowed down, I am shattered and feel like crying as really thought this was it. I have walked the dog and cleaned the house dont know what else to do to get it started again.

Any Ideas??

A bath can work, unfortunatley it also has the opposite effect sometimes, but since nothing is happening its work a try.

Also walking sideways up stairs, think it widens your pelvis to let LO head slip down a bit.

Or you could try going to work again, it worked yesterday

Oh Sarah!! I really hope this is it for you hun!!

It all sounds like it's going to happen veeeery soon to me!! Have you got a birthing ball? How about walking up and down the stairs?

Ooh how exciting sounds like your very close! For the time being I would go back to bed and try and get some sleep sounds like you were up most the night you will need your energy for when your properly underway, it does sound like your waters have gone though I was under the impression the hospital liked to check you over once your waters had gone

I would sleep as you are tired it sounds like you are going to need all your energy very soon!!!
have something to eat and a good nap- then if when you wake up the contractions haven't started again then try
the stairs/birthing ball to try and get them going again!

Id keep an eye on those waters tough as it sounds to me you might have lost some.
What has the midwives said recently as they should really check you over xxxx

Thanks Ladies, They just said to keep an eye on it and if my pad gets wet to take it in to them to examine but to be honest I keep running to the tiolet every 5 minutes so it doesnt really hit the pad!!!
I have rang them a few times and I just feel like a pest, I really wish they would just ask me to go in to put my mind at ease and let me know if things have really started!!

My waters were only trickling and I had irregular contractions with Eefie and you've lost your plug so it will be all systems go soon
