Evening!

Looking at different antenatal classes and for my location (London) the two best contenders are NCT Signature and Bump & Baby, has anyone had any experiences with either?
Wondering how to choose between them.

NCT is closer to me, but Bump & Baby cheaper I think.

Would look to book up after 3 month scan.

Thank you! xx

Can't be of any help but would be interested in responses. Not in London but there are NCT classes around my area. I know there's always lots of mixed views on these things but for me, I'm more interested in meeting other mums as we've not lived in the area that long and I would like to meet more people locally. Any other ideas would also be great.

I’ve not long finished a course of NCT classes. There were 7 couples all due within a few weeks of each other, it was nice to meet other local mums! The sessions are quite idealistic and pro natural everything which is not always the best route for everyone but I did learn some useful stuff. Most of my friends who’ve done NCT say you’re basically paying for friends but they’d still do it! A neighbour of mine still meets up with her whole group 2.5 years later!

Ok thank you, have provisionally booked NCT as it is closest to my house, bump & baby is a bus ride away which I am sure will get annoying after a while!

That's really helpful, thanks. I have no issue with paying for some more local friends haha!! I still work in the area we used to live and just commute so most of my social life is still there but I know it's going to be much more practical to meet some local mums.

I've been looking at lots of different classes and would love to hear any thoughts on how new dads found them? My husband wants to be a hands on dad but like many he's really anxious about the whole thing, thinks he'll be terrible etc. He won't, I have complete faith. Some of the classes are more couples focused and I just wanted to hear if the guys thought they were worth it.
