My husband wrote me a song!

I knew he was working on something, but I didn't know what. Last night he finally showed it to me (he had recorded it- it was kind of late to actually play it in front of me) and it was so sweet that it made me cry! He has written a lot of songs since we met and a lot have had things to do with us in them, but I am sure this is the first solely for me. It was so sweet!

Also, he told me he has been working on recording a full disc of nice songs for the baby. He plays the guitar and sings, but I think this is mostly just guitar. He's going to make a special cover (he paints and binds books, as well) and it will be a special keepsake for our baby. He decided if he thinks it is good enough he'll also try to sell it online.

how lovely. My DH plays loads of instruments too (hope the baby gets some of his talent... I can't even play a recorder!) and he's wrote a couple of songs for me in the past and it's just so lovely to hear something that someone has made especially for you. I still cry whenever I hear one of them now!!
