Grrrr! It's getting on my nerves so so much. I stayed at MIL for a good few months & have just started getting back to normal in my house but I feel like my own house gives me hay fever and I haven't got a clue why! I've opened windows, vacuumed, cleaned my window sills and I still get itchy eyes runny nose & a tight chest..

Any suggestions? LOL would be greatly appreciated

Thank you, I should live at my doctors surgery the amount of times I've been there recently. Thought it could be an allergy, but I'd love to pin point it so I can try & get rid! X

Have you changed anything recently in terms of cleaning products/scents within your house?

No haven't changed anything, it's been whenever I stay here. And no where else, I just don't understand where it's coming from and it's really getting annoying. Thought it could have been cuz I haven't stayed here in a while, and dust from the radiators when the heats on but that's the only thing I can think of..

Have you got carpets? Perhaps there is bugs/hair in the carpets that conventional cleaning can't get to? You could try a carpet cleaner?

I've only got carpet in one room.. I've vacuumed to no end & I will probably get someone in to clean it professionally if that's the cause. I'd like to know how it can have never affected me & now it does -_-

Could be dust mites babes specially if you haven't been there they get in and burrow into the carpet and can cause skin irritation and sneezing - you can't get them out with the vacuum they burrow in too too deep! You can hire a carpet cleaner from home base for cheap x

They also get into sofas and things too x - a steam cleaner might help - its all I can think of but can't really help as it is a bit strange! Lol x

I really don't have a clue why it's like this lol if there was any indication it'd be a great help I clean all my sofas down & they're not fabric so they're easy enough to clean! It's a mystery x

If anyone was wondering what it was that was making me so hayfevery... It was my QUILT... :/ I brought a new quilt out of pure hope it would help.. And threw my old one way.. I can only assume it was the material I was allergic to.. I'm so so happy my house doesn't make me sneeze anymore :D

Omg! Such a silly little thing!!! Glad it's sorted bab xxx

Can't believe it was something so simple, but I wouldn't have thought of it, I've been dealing with coming back to my house, once every few months & sneezing like mad. That's why I put off coming home & was staying at MIL. It just came to me the other day.. I don't know why. But thank god :D xx

I think it was a feather quilt yeah. I brought a microfibre (I think that's what they're called?) from asda the other day. And it's been perfect ever since :D x

Down allergy is quite common; I suffer very badly from it - triggers my rhinitus.

Am glad you've sorted it :D

Thank you. Never affected me before I was pregnant so, maybe I've became more sensitive to things? Who knows aye! X
