My baby is boobist!

My daughter is nearly 20 weeks old and since thursday morning has decided she doesnt want to feed from my right boob! She just point blank refuses to latch on and has a right moan until I put her on the left and she feeds fine. Is this common? Do I keep offering her the right boob and hope she gives in? Just wondering if any of you ladies can offer some advice? Thank you!

Try rugby ball hold, it'll make her think she's getting the boob she prefers. I've heard that nursing strikes can happen

Ella-rose did that so I called my right boob her "pudding boob" cos it was her favourite its a pain tho! Rugby ball hold helped and I kept offering her that one first and then switching to pudding boob after trying, eventually she went back to normal but it took a few weeks! Good luck xxx

This happened to me when Lizzie started her first nursing strike and we got through it but this time round she will not feed from the right boob at all. So I feed from the left boob and express the right to give in a bottle

i had this too!!!! my dd refused my keft and would scream until given right, rugby hold worked a few times until she realised and then even that didnt work, i just kept offering my left breast first each time, and i also fed lying down next to her and she couldnt tell the difference when i did it liying down.
