little leo is 1 week and one day. He drains his 3oz bottle and the midwife said its fine to start making four and see how much he takes. Im just worried its too soon and on the tin it says weight 9 and a half pound. Did anyone else up there forumla this early?

i woudnt worry to much about what it says on the tin as they are just guidelines but every baby is different!!

my LO is 7 weeks fri and drinks 6-7oz every 2-3hrs and has more than the 6 bottles in 24hrs and according to the tin of formula he shouldnt be on that much yet!! but if i listened to the guidelines i would have a very hungary screaming baby constantly so i would just give him what he needs xxx

i will give it a go. He is a really hungry baby. He came out of me demanding a bottle lol x

I'd make up 4oz see if baby takes it. your Lo will only take as much as he wants anyways.
My Lo is 3 weeks today and has been taking 4-5oz for about a week now.

At ten days old my LO was taking 5oz bottels she was a greedy piglet , I also fed ruby on demand . Follow your baby's lead xxx

Totally follow LO. Albert has always fed a lot more than it says on the tin. He's on soya and there's no hungry baby formula which sucks lol. He's 11 weeks and on 8-9 7oz bottles a day at 11lb 8oz.

I started feeding him more he's defo not a small baby and need the extra he seems happier now thanks ladies x
