I posted a question in the working section earlier (and got some great responses, so thanks ladies)
Basically, i've had a really strange urge to sort my future out. I do not want to go back to my old job, but I will need to return to work if we want any luxuarys, holidays, stuff like road tax. I always need to know whats gonna happen with stuff and not knowing what was gonna happen when my smp runs out (in 5 months!!) was making me really panicy. I just need to know that I will have an income and that my son will be ok.
So... I've seen a job in a little village shop as a supervisor with great hours for me. Its tues 6-10, thur 6-10 sat & sun 3-10 so my LO wont have to go into childcare!!! I went for an informal chat with the manager and it went really well! She says she's gonna let me know either way by monday so i'll let you know. Chester is in bed by 8pm so hopefully I wont miss to much.
I'm so excited thinking about it, I bet I dont get it now!
I'll be about a tenner a week better off than on SMP but its not about the money atm, its that I know i'll have my longer term sorted.
