Making macarons and bread pudding

I've had an attempt at making bread pudding but the outcome was it was very soggy was'nt very nice. I put the right ingredients in did as instructed by the recipe book. What am I doing wrong?

Long time ago I tired bread pudding which was yummy and delicious. I got this recipe from best restaurant dessert supplier which is famous in newyork.
