Ohhhh, they just keep getting bigger!!!!

Are they ever going to stop swelling or just explode? :? I can't feel or wiggle my sausage toes anymore - I swear my feet are normally quite dainty and boney!!

Consultant said this is quite normal, urm I was a size 5, now I'm a 9 and I cant even get the fat little buggers into OH's shoes!!!

Why oh why does it seem I have to get every buggering symptom/ailment in the book? I'm, trussed up like some sort of donkey, I have a big tubigrip around my bump and down over my bum for the SPD, wrist splints on both hands for Carpel Tunnel Syndrome and now this!! Seriously I don't think I can ever do this again!!!!!!

Any of you poor lassies suffering the same cankle gorgeousness? :rotfl:

I have never seen swollen feet like that! I know some women do get them but geez surely that cant be normal!?! :?

My lord Cleo, the doc says that is normal?

Mine have swollen a tiny bit, nothing like yours.

No advice sorry but plenty of these

Whats it like to walk? Is it just water retention?

xx

I'll ask you that again when baby is a couple of weeks old, you'll forget about all of this :D .

Yep,

Just water retention according to specialist, she laughed and said "they look like they are broken" :( beeeeeatch! I'm sure when I broke my ankle in the past it was not that big!!! Deformed feet party round my place!!

The good news is that I said I was afraid driving to appointments for Middy as I keep getting dizzy spells and seeing blobs, my tum now hits the wheel and I cant move seat further back or I wont be able to reach the pedals, and I cant now feel the pedals as feet are so fat!!! So My last 4 Middy appointments will be at home when she will come to my house from now on.....yayyyyyyy!

All down to biff baby is the reasoning supposedly, babies weight is putting so much pressure on my groin that my circulation is shite so blood is all pooling in the cankles......

Said my BP was ok at 148/82 which I suppose is high, but not too high today, I've been 115/55 the whole pregnancy until the last 3 weeks though.....

Hopefully is does not develop into something more sinister.....

God I feel so sexy!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Lol Hazel, I'm sure I will have forgotten the minute she is in my arms :D !! My OH however has said he will NEVER impregnante me again as "this pregnancy has been tough on him with all the stress of different issues with my, morning sickness then SPD etc and he does not think he could ever listen to my whining again" poor him, my heart bleeds for the bugger......

Really not being funny or trying to worry you but to me, you have swelling, them flashes which I think Lucie said she got with pre eclampsia (when I asked about them) and to me your BP is quite high! ?
I hope that things will be ok hun but Im a little worried for you if Im honest!!

Gosh they look like mine were at the end!

Are you getting headaches at all hun? Have you mentioned the 'blobs' to MW?

Anything above 140 or 90 should be considered high, and they should consider your normal BP too and the increase from that

Hopefully is does not develop into something more sinister.....
Sorry, not trying to worry you and hope it's nothing more than water retention like they've said

I tend to agree with Lea (she's very sensible ya know lol). I would be more than a lil worried about the swollen feet on top of your other ailments, and i would be inclined to get a second opinion Honey.

At least that way it would put your mind at rest one way or another. Thank god you don't have to travel to anymore anti-natal appts though.

Have a

Jeesus!!! Sorry but they are some seriously crazy feet!

I agree with others, I'd be a bit worried about swollen feet and the other symptoms, especially the rise in blood pressure.

Bless your heart!

  Poor you hun  I am never going to complain about my swollen feet now I've seen yours

Definitely have a word with your midwife about the flashing and blobs if you haven't already

You poor thing!

I really would think about getting a second opinion though with so many symptoms of pre-eclampsia, just to be on the safe side. But hopefully everything is fine - I don't want to worry you! - and it's just yet another one of those lovely pregnancy presents we have to endure

im afraid im siding with everyone.... i think you need a 2nd opinion! Your feet look so sore, blood pressure has gone up & now youre seeing blobs? All signs of pre-eclampsia.... my midwife ALWAYS asks me about if ive swollen anywhere & if im seeing things. Have you mentioned the dizziness & "blobs" to anyone?
x

Hi Cleo,

This won't make you feel better but my footsies are the same. It is a bloody nightmare... sooo uncomfortable.

Anyway, I just wanted to sympathise with you.... hopefully it is just water retention and we will lose two stone when bambinos come out!!

mine were the same too! They disappeared a few days after birth. I still remember the moment i looked at my feet and ankles and realised they were slim again, it was brilliant and I felt so skinny.

Not much longe now and you'll have your feet back.
