Lochia - worried!

Hi

So I gave birth on the 8th April to a beautiful little boy. On the 9th April I had a secondary postpartum hemmorage and had to have a second op. I'm now absolutely terrified of blood loss which is a problem when you obviously have lochia.

What sort of loss was normal for you ladies? Colours, quantity about a week in? How often were you changing a pad. I can go hours and lose nothing and then lose a bit of blood.

Mine stopped and started...apparently it gets heavy again if you're doing too much. Finally stopped after three weeks but I had days in the first two weeks where I'd get a kind of sudden 'flood'.
