les miserables

I'm dying to see it... it's my favourite musical seen it 3 times... i know all the words to every song.. that'd be my problem.. DH will have to gag me so i don't sing lol x

Lol!! It is fantastic and great eye for detail looks really good :)

Les Miserables is my favourite book and has been for a very long time. The musical is also a huge part of my life and I've seen it five or six times now!

The movie is fantastic, they have obviously read the books as there are little touches that appear (like J Vj buying Cosette Catherine as he rescues her from the Thernardiers') and it is like everything I've imagined when reading the book before me on the screen! Magical.

They have moved a couple of the songs around slightly, but they still make perfect sense and the new song blends seamlessly in and is a beautiful song itself.

I was full-body sobbing by the end, absolutely howling. Only criticisms are the unnnecessary addition to Javert's suicide but I can understand it was to show he was actually dead and not coming back. Still made me a bit queasy, and the lack of Eponine at the end when J Vj passes away.

Absolutely spellbinding and magical and OH MY GOD do I want to be one of the students! Always have but they were a tasty looking bunch in this film!

:D I was sobbing too! But trying to hide it from hubby as he clearly had no taste and half way though turned to me - asked me if I was actually enjoying it or wanted to leave?! Then said the singing was getting on his nerves! Lol when I told him we was half way through and extremely enjoying it he was like "ohh" lol but afterwards said he really enjoyed it but he isn't used to all the singing but said after he gave it a chance thought it was actually really good :)

Oh I went with my OH last week and we actually both loved it and now want to go and see it on stage! I too knew the music before going to see it and was not disappointed! I thought Anne Hathaway was brilliant in it too :) Somehow I didn't cry, but I could hear someone sobbing not too far from us! xx

I loved it, never seen the stage show, and I was so happy to hear all those songs come to life at last.

I only cried for the last half hour, my daughter cried before me :) My only irritation was people sniffing towards the end.....why didn't they bring tissues, is it not in the reveiws that it makes you cry lol

I love the stage show and I really want to see it...but no one wants to go with me :( Billy no mates lol!

I'm tempted to go and watch it on my own :oooo:

OH likes the story and has seen it in the west end with me but doesn't fancy the film in the cinema, said he will watch it on DVD but to me it's such a glorious huge production it needs to be seen at cinema!

I think I might go on my own!!!!

I want to go see this!! X

My fat fingers can't spell! x

It's a really really good film - if he won't go with you I would go on your own there was plenty of people on their own in the cinema - lots if people love it but for allot its just not their thing. X

Its really good but its soooo long! My back was killing me after the 1st hour so I couldn't really enjoy the next 1 and 40 mins, which was a bit of a shame :(

Oh that's a shame! We have huge comfy seats in the cinema we go to. Broad street Birmingham is fantastic cineworld :)

I'm going Thursday :) I got a friend to come with me in the end! Yay!!

Ah it's AMAZING!!! Sobbed most of the way through it- quite loudly at points, much to the amusement of my oh!!

So glad you enjoyed it :D I loved it so much will be getting it when it comes out on DVD for sure! :) xx

Girls!!! Just seen it.

Amazing, stunning, beautiful, sad, heartbreaking! Thinking it might be my favourite film ever! I really loved it.

I saw it again the other day, with a friend. Going to wait until it's out on DVD now to see it again.
