awww how cute, my MIL has always been disapointed that DH wasn't as interested in horses and riding as her and from long before I got pregnant has always said her grandchild will ride and she will get it a pony I think its a lovely thing for a child to grow up with their own pony and to learn to care for and respect them and all animals is so important!

Aww, thats so cute! How to make a little baby boy look even littler............stick him on an enormous horse! Hehe!

lmao at huge horse his actually one of the smaller breeds u can get only 11.2h lol his a section A stallion :lol:

mum breeds ponies so i grew up with them and altho dont ride anymore mum keeps my stallion ( who actually fathered lelands pony indy) we show inhand now ( anyone who knows what county shows are ill be at suffolk :shock: )

mum will be gutted if leland doesnt like ponies , think his got enough lined up to lasthim till his a teenager ( in height wise lmao)

I had my own horse as a youngster though i bought her off my own back and kept her in DIY at my local riding school. It was hard work but i loved it and im gutted i cannot afford to have my own horse again and have the kids have their own.

You guys that have your own are so lucky.

i went without alot of normal stuff as a kid by having the ponies , ive never been away with mum etc and was always busy before and after school , things like my dinner came 2nd and so did clothes ! but i didnt know any different . mum works nights to keep her ponies even now , and i use to hate being called rich cos i had ponies when infact we were stone broke cos of them ! mum currently had about 15 welsh mountain ponies :) but she's deffo far from rich ! and that stable is in my mum back garden lol you'd never beleive it from the front ,its a terraced house !

awwww what lovely photos...

LOL i guessed the grey is a stallion, he's a sexy boy tho. I like my Welshies..... Leland looks very cute!

I love the pics i have of Isla on my sexy PJ, but her legs dont even reach the bottom of the saddle flaps on a 15.1hh'er. So cute. She starts riding as soon as i can find a small hat for her, i cant find one anywhere.....

Great pictures, and what a lovely little stallion that you can trust him with your baby.

We have 'Witchety Grub' for my baby, she's supposed to be my horse's companion but she is such a bossy little creature he's scared of her. She's not especially keen on adults (she kicked me the first day I had her!) but she is worth her weight in gold with kids. You can actually see her cheer up no end when children come into sight.

Here's my baby's first ride, at 5 months old;

we up intill recently ( as had him cut) had 3 stallions , all of which are not your typical stallions , they are never treated any different and are just great :) . only time to be weary is when there working lmao :wink:

cant wait for leland to actually ride tho sooner then better lmao got leadrein classes to do !

Any top tips on where i can get teeny tiny kacket jods and hat etc from, she has a cycle helmet but i am not at all happy to let het ride in that, oh and a little body protector.... tried ebay but no joy.
