This is my staffy Kali, she's 2 and a half now and this piccy was taken about a year ago, she hasn't changed much tho!

your dog is beautiful. My baby girl staffy had to be put to sleep last month, i am still really cut up about it I really want another dog but its the wrong time for me. Give her a cuddle from me xx

she's lovely! Staffy's have such lovely temperaments don't they? We weren't sure how Winne would turn out as we don't really know her history, but she's so gentle and friendly, she's just perfect. Sorry to hear about your dog Toonlass

i love staffies, i hate the people that think they are horrible creatures because of the news! the way i see it is, its the way any dogs are brought up horrible turn out nasty and visious....whereas if they are brought up in a loving home etc they are lovely....
my mum is one of those women that judges, told her i got a staffy pup and she was like why did u get that visious beast for......patronising!
but your dog is lovely, nice cat too xx

Thanks ema-lou, I know what you mean, my mum was like that too but loves her now - still won't dog sit thought! Kali is great with people, not too good with some other dogs though so I keep her on a lead or muzzled when we're out. She's never been around babies before so I'm a bit nervous about what she'll be like with my little bean when born but staffys are meant to be great with kids so fingers crossed she'll be ok! I'll just make sure I don't leave her alone with bubba. I'll probably have more problems with the cat

Inky yes I think their temperments are lovely (with people at least!), would definitely have a staffy again!

Staffs have the nickname 'nanny dog' as they are so good with kids. My china wa only 1 and a half when i had my eldest and she was unsure at first but after that she didn't bother with him. Even when my son got older she still didn't bother with him, she just ignored him even if he shouted of her.

I have had staffs all my life and i wouldn't even consider another breed, they are loyal, loving and easily trained. Very placid dogs if brought up by resposible owners. I had a room devider when i had my kids, not coz i didn't trust my dogs as such, it was just for peace of mind and extra safety xx

he was 10weeks old in this pic, we got him when he was 6weeks, his mum abandoned him and we had to bottle feed him, hes a wee darling....6months old now lol

One word - staffy club! Thought kalis name was familiar!

She's beautiful and grown up so bloody stunning! Bet your so proud!

I'm wondering what Bo will be like when the baby comes too but she's fantastic with my kids and so gentle with my youngest so I think she'll be fine.

Anyone who knows a staffy know that they are the bestest dogs ever, my dog is soft as shit, every day she makes me laugh and I wouldn't be without her!

I wondered if any of you lot were staffy club members, what's your name over there? I'm kalistaff (not surprisingly lol!). I don't get on it that much anymore - not since it changed from staffybullterriers.com when I could access it from work - they've blocked staffy club

Yeah I'm sure she'll be fine with bubba, just get scared of the unknown!

I was Bo Duke! Lol I don't go on it all now, I was a bit lost when they changed it and never really took to staffy club. I do go on there now and again to see all the pics and that though.
