It may have cost him a certain amount in listing fees, but i wouldn't imagine it will be that much as they are capped at a certain amount.

However he can just fill in a form which says you have both agreed not to complete the transaction and you just have to accept that and he will get all his fees refunded anyway hun.

You don't have to complete the transcation hun, don't let him con you out of any money.

He's taking the p*ss.

To list it would cost only a couple of quid unless he put a reserve price on it which would cost more. the final value % and paypal fees might add up to £65 but as already said if you both agree not go through with transaction then he will be able to relist for free.

If he doesn't agree to this then the worst that will happen to you is 1 negative feedback which tbh isn't the end of the world.

He will get the fees back from ebay, I've had a few non-paying bidders before and as long as you go along with it, he doesn't get charged.

He won't even be able to leave you negative feedback, hehehe   , as sellers can no longer leave negative or neutral for buyers!

I think they *can* but not in retaliation to a buyer leaving a negative. I think if you had a genuine non-payer you could leave negative.

   Hmmm, We couldn't and we were really annoyed at it lol, because they could leave us negative if they wanted! Perhaps they have hopefully fixed it now then so it's fair! Ours was when they had just introduced the new feedback rules, so a little while ago now!
