I have just spent the last 40 mins working, typing up a spreadsheet on excel and i've just gone and deleted it all by mistake.

Oh no! I hate it when that happens. Did you delete it by closing the programme or crashing you pc? If so you may be able to get it back. Programmes like word or excel tend to auto save a backup copy every 5 or 10 mins
