Itching!!!!!!

Hi, Can anyone tell me whether itching is normal in early stages of pregnancy. I am 5w 1 day and my arms and legs are red raw because I am itching so bad and cant curb the urge to scratch.
I have tried to research this but cant find any information anywhere.

im deffinatly more itchy sinse being pregnant. mainly my legs. But i wouldnt say ive scratched them redrore. Id go to the doc just to be checked out.

Definitely get it checked out and read the sticky on obsetric cholestasis in first tri and 3rd tri. Don't want to scare you but its better to be safe than sorry. It could just be that your skin is sensitive due to the hormones. In very early pregnancy my skin became very sensitive and I had to stop using any face wash or creams.

Ooooooooooh, I've been really itchy too!

Everytime DP touches my skin lightly it really tickles and makes me itch badly. He must be getting really peed off as i keep slapping his hand away when he touches me,
