Sorry - Not sure if this is the right place to post this!

I had a c-section 10 days ago, and I have hardly been for a poo! (sorry TMI)

At first I was scared to go, and now I just cant! I have been taking lactulose, and nothing is moving! I am eating fruit veg and bran flakes too!

This is on top of the fact that I have now developed a water infection and I am on antibiotics! The pain of a trip to the loo is doing my head in!!

The midwife is coming tomorrow so I will ask her but thought I would ask on here too.

Sorry, I don't know this one - when I had a section I got back to normal quite quickly. Hope you get the answer 2moro (or go for a poo b4 that!)X

Yes in my experience very normal...my first one was like labour all over again..just keep on with that latulose and the fruit..i will come but may take some time to get completely back to normal

I had problems for weeks. Was in agony and bleeding as i had ended up being so bunged up.

Hope the midwife can help.

I have 2 litres of fresh orange and a hot curry the night I git back from hospital...got things moving for me...fast

Good luck with it

Yes, I had the same. It was agony. I think it took me about 2 weeks to have my first poo LOL.

Everytime I tried I thought my scar would split. But as everyone says keep up the lactalose and it will sort itself out soon.

Glad your sorted now :D

I had no probs going after my section tho.

Hi

Glad it is better now its very uncomfortable isnt it.
I sat on the toilet for 2 hours trying to go and Bernies parents had come to meet Kadyn i was so emberrassed as his dad really needed the bathroom

I went 2 days after, its suprising how much you use ure tummy muscles tho!! I had to sit there for ages lol as my stitches would hurt if i really tried to go lol glad its all ok now tho x
