Is he clever or is this normal for his age??

My little Chunk is 16 months old and he can sing loads of nursery rhymes to the tune of the nursery rhymes and the majority of the words too,,he sings Twinkle Twinkle Little Star..The Wheels on The Bus and some others..The other day he started singing that song that Justin sings 'Hello Hello How Are You' song from the start to the end!

His words aren't fully there, but if he sings them, you know what he is singing and can make out most of the words!

Im really taken aback by this..I have never really had any contact with kids before other than just Fynn...is this normal for his age?? I thought he was too young yet to be able to sing these!

He does sound quite bright! My nephew was quite forward with speech but not that early. Although when he was 2.5 he was replacing the words 'Jingle Bells' with 'Fucking Hell'!!!
I know kids at 4 that can't talk properly yet!

Awww how cute is Fynn!!! Love it. He's such a clever little man. He definately sounds as though he is advanced in his speech (probably cos he has a mummy who never shuts up ) Jack doesn't sing like that, he does actions to songs but doesn't sing the words and he's 2 months older so Yaaaaaaaaaaaay and well done Fynn

I thought he was being clever..but didnt know if it was standard for his age! Lol, ya gotta point there SC maybe its cos Im slightly on the talkative side at times Oh crikey..hope he doesnt end up like me or I'll have to invest in a good pair of earmuffs!

Star - I would love to record him and post it on here..but I have no clue how to do it..I dont even have the facilty on this laptop to put a chip thing in the side to add photos, if I wanna add photos I have to get them done on disc 1st in Tesco..so have no chance of a video Im afraid

you can pick up those usb phone cables sooo cheap, probably just a few quid from ebay. i love my phone for the little video clips i can take.

Foxxi, that's really clever! My DD could sing the tune to 'twinkle twinkle' at 16 months but that was it - and we thought she was quite clever for doing that!

he's a clever little man! millie is nearly two and is only just saying a scanty smattering of words! she sings but not in english lol and she's always done that
