I have to confess this...

I normaly let my 2 budgies out to fly in my front room, but coz its big, I have trouble catching them again, so last night, when i cleaned out there cage, jase sugested putting them in the bathroom to fly, alot smaller so i would catch them better.

I let them out shut the door and came down to clean there cage, 30 mins later i go back up......they are sat on the window legde, stupid me had forgot to shut the window!!!!

i went towards them slowly, hopeing to shoo them in, but they flew up and out! :(

feel so guilty now

Um...maybe it will lead to a wonderful new breed of wild budgie?

At least it's summer. Maybe they'll come home to roost?

lol thats what Jase said, they are going to get it on with some sparrows

ah i shouldnt laugh, i do feel sorry for them

xx

Budgies do get found by kindly old neighbours sometimes. Have you contacted the RSPCA?

Oh Layla  I don't know what to say have you told the kids yet? They will be devastated

Oh gosh  :(

I do hope they come back! I don;t know how likely that is.

I think it's a mistake any of us could make.

Worst thing I have done is put my hammy in it's ball, left the front door open while I was spring cleaning without thinking ... Luckily the bright pink ball bombing it down the street wasn't too hard to notice & it was wise & stayed on the path! This was like 5/6 years ago mind.

awww love you :(

Maybe they will return home when their hungry.. isnt taht what they always say? lol

Awww Layla!

Where's Budge? She'll know what to do!

One of my neighbours lost one of his lovebirds. He printed out a little flyer with its pic and put it through everyone's doors so we all knew and could keep a look out for it. Maybe you could think about doing that?

the kids havent even noticed they are gone! lol

we are going to replace them quick i think so they wont know

xx

And it reminded me of this time in asda there was a rather large pigeon and a in store greeter called ken who is rather old was creeping up behind it as it was sat on a billboard type thing out side the post office with his blazer open 2 catch it

I feel guilty as I had to laugh too when I read this. Bless the poor budgies but atleast they're together eh?!
