I'm new (and sick)!

Hello everyone,

I have now made it in to the bigger bumps club! 13 weeks, wow!

So am I the only one who is still being very at 13 weeks? Doc has even prescribed Gaviscon to 'neutralise the acid' and stop me being sick in the mornings.... but I had my first dose last night which made me instantly sick! That wasn't the idea - and no such luck this morning, sick again.....

I do hope pregnancy gets better soon, I was so excited when I found out but now its just miserable to be honest.

I think for a lot of ladies the sickness gets better after 14 weeks ish? But I dont know much about it - no sickness for me anymore, just the need to constantly!!

I havnt been sick much just really nauseous and it disappeared about week 12 only to return last week at start of week 17. I hope you feel better soon

Mine started to ease between 13-14 weeks, so there should be light at the end of the tunnel for you soon. I find Gavisgon good for heartburn (which has now taken over, just the last couple of days) but not so much to help stop you being sick

sorry 2 hear ur still being sick hun, im not being sick but still feeling very sick, I keep on telling myself it will pass soon, as this is supposed to be the blooming period right!!!!

Cant help you with the sickness Im afraid as Im one of the lucky ones that never suffered at all, although am sure it will calm down now you are in Tri 2.

Sorry to hear you are feeling poop. Mine eased at 15wks (and at 18wks with my first) so hopefully it won't be long til you're feeling better. Don't worry about moaning, we know how you are feeling and a moan always helps
