Hubby broke his car today so I said to take mine to work tomorrow forgetting I had a midwife appointment at 2.20pm.

I said to him I forgot about appointment but would get there some how myself and would probably cycle (I usually cycle there or to Tesco which is next door to the docs in good weather anyway, 2 miles).

I got a look from him like I was crazy. It took a second for it to dawn on me that cycling might not be the best method of getting there  .

I actually forget I'm pregnant sometimes until I look in a mirror and think what the hell is that.

Hopefully will be a nice sunny day for a leisurely walk along the footpaths to get there.

Aslong as you can keep ya balance i don't see why you couldn't cycle - they even recommend it in our health authority as a viable and safe form of exercise through pregnancy :) I am bit miffed cos my bike is broken but am lookin forward to gettin back out on it soon :D

LOL at forgetting your pregnant haha I do that I got all excited because I seen the signs for the funfair and I wanted to go on rides! Then I realized that I reaaaally shouldn't be doing that!

I would of thought as long as you are happy to cycle and would be comfy that you might be able to cycle just have to be a bit delicate!

i plan on cycling once the waether gets nice, only on proper tracks not mountain biking though, as long as you dont fall off it is deemed safe.

Niki I said to my Boy today we would go to Alton Towers in the summer, he was very purplexed and it was only after he had noted my confinement that the penny dropped... no rollercoasters for me this year

Half the roads I would have to use are busy main roads and a major roundabout which is difficult to cross under normal circumstances so not going to risk it.

I've got a fair size bump on me so don't know how my balance would be on a bike now

Walking is much more sensible as can use the country footpaths and won't need to go near a road.

I wish you would all stop talking about roller coasters. I love Thorpe park. Got baby sitter prepared for end of Oct for fright night
