Tried using the doppler for mum and big sister but couldn't find anything today. I ended up shooing them out the house as I was so down. Feel really bad as they'd came all the way to see me and I practically kicked them.out as I didn't want them to be nice to me and I'd start crying.

I know it's still early so sometimes it doesn't pick up but I'm still sitting here sobbing away and basically crapping myself something is wrong :( xx

EDIT: just found the little houdini's heartbeat (i know I should learn already). Have now put the doppler away til after the scan! Thanks again for your reassurance xxx

Oh sweetie! Its probably just your little bean has shifted position and is hiding a bit, I'm sure they wriggle around lots at the moment as they have lots of room. And don't the dopplers say to use from 16 weeks really hun?

Bless you, I would be upset too (this is why I haven't got a doppler lol) but try not to worry hun. Whens your 12 week scan? Xx

:hugs:Hon try not to panic although of course that would be the first thing you feel. This is the main reason why I didn't want a doppler but heard such great things from other women that I caved - and of course baby was hiding or I would only see the heart beat for a few seconds before it legged it!! Like Ams said, they have soooo much room that they find a nice corner to hang out in and the doppler can't pick the hb up.

I'm going to try not to use it unless I have a concern because I do think they can be bad aswell as good.

Hope you're ok :friends:

xxxx

and this is why i dont have as doppler although coudl d with one at moment x

Dont worry most midwives won't even listen until 16 weeks because babies heartbeat can be hard to find

I didn't get a Doppler til after 16 weeks because if this. It's also really hard to know what is your heartbeat, what is babies and what is blood just going thru your placenta

Try not to worry- can't see how many weeks you are Hun but keep calm xx

Don't worry I had it two days running and nothing today, I think it's movement and it's still so teeny tiny we really are v lucky to hear it at all so early.

It's heart is thundering away :) just hiding today xx

Thanks everyone... I feel so poop still but forcing myself to think positive. My scan is a week today.

I'm not wanting to use it again until my scan but know I'll cave. Just so frightened as I lost our first baby at 10 weeks :( xxx

Same! I found mine but then couldn't for nearly a week, don't stress you LOs prob just snuggled down in there all cosy and warm. They could be somewhere towards your back.

Did you have a full stomach and full bladder at the time? That can sometimes help you find your LO.
Xx

So relieved to hear this has happened to others and it's been fine. I thought that once you found it the first time, that was you :( Thanks all so much again for the messages, will definitely help see me through to scan day xxx

Thanks babe. My own fault for using it far too early I guess! X

Morning!

Well like you again yesterday I vowed Im not going to touch it again but gave it one lady shot (that's it till my scan next week) and it too about half an hour to hear it briefly, it was really hidden whereas sat morning took less than a minute do lesson learnt no more Doppler till second tri for me too!

Hope your feeling better about it today Hun xxxx

Hi babe. I was naughty and had a listen last night. Found the little beggar no problem - grr! Lol. Glad you found your cheeky bean too, they have us so worried already! We should have a no doppler pact til scan day? Keep each other strong and motivated lol xxx
