I met my bean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a really crap appoinment with a very stroppy consultant who wanted to know who had sent me and why- i told him to read my notes

He insisted on an internal scan and found my bean sat quite happily, with its heart beat throbbing away, i couldnt really see it but OH had a good view, i asked for a picture but he said not much to see so no point and then proceeded to print a couple off for himself i had a look at the ones he had and you could see it

He has altered my due date a little and i am now due 17th September so only afew days out

I know it's 'all in a day's work' for these consultants and that it's probably boring to see the 20th pregnant woman that day but can't they just appreciate how special and important the babies in our bellies are to us (regardless of how tiny they may be) and how much you need the reassurance and support particularly if you have miscarried before? It makes me angry!

Argh some "profesionals" just don't seem to understand how much thought, effort and pain some women go through to get pregnant so although there might not have been "much to see" it's confirmation that your baby is doing well and therefore HUGELY important to you..

Even so, he/she is ok and that is brill news

I have the usual 12 week scan on March 6th if i cant wait til then to get a proper piccie i might get myself a private scan seeing as i didnt have to pay for this one in the end

We shall see how strong my willpower is!
