Hi ladies....

My name is Jodie and I’ve been browsing your site for a couple of days now and have just decided that its about time i joined to say hello and introduce myself, so here i am... hello....
I got married in January and then came off my pill... Its now been 5 months that we've been trying but with no luck yet...

I'm a little worried because when i was about 19 i got PID which was caused by an std i got called Chlamydia which if left untreated long enough can make you infertile but i don’t know how long i had it so i don’t know how long it was left untreated so i was just wondering has anyone on here had PID and still conceived naturally??

My first day of my last period was May the 8th and i have a 32ish day cycle and we done the business on the 20/22/24th and hopefully today..hehe... we're these my fertile days.. I’m never going to know if i am without taking a test because i have all the same symptoms when for about 2 weeks before my period is due, i mean sore breasts (REALLY sore i mean) head aches, i put on weight, have trouble sleeping, i get REALLY tired and i feel sick so I’m just never going to know am i..lol...

if your worried that the chlamydia had affected you its worth mentionin to your docs. they can get the ball rolling to test your tubes and put your mind at rest

( oh and if i was you id lie and say id been trying for a year)

if it help , i too when i was 18 got chlamydia and didnt know for how long i had it . but have had my tubes checked 3 weeks ago and i have no blockages , so hope this gives you hope

Oh thank you... I'll do that then, ill see what this month brings and if still no luck i'll go to them and lie...lol.... Im at work today and i feel really sick... boo..

You could try using an ovulation calendar to calculate your most fertile days or quite a lot of girls chart to pinpoint ovulation by recording temperature, CM etc.

u should ov 12 - 16 days before the day ure next period is due.
I would B D today and the next two days if u can to make doubly sure uve covered it! Good luck. Ive been of pill since end of march just, starting my 3rd cycle. Its stressful this TTC lark!

hello, welcome to the forum. My sister had chlamydia years ago and she now has a 2 year old and didn't have anything done to her tubes. I agree with Gem, see your GP and mention it saying you're TTC and they might get some tests done for you.

Try the obvulation calendar route and do a few to see if your ovulating near enough the samed days.
