How to spell it?

I didn't vote because I think they're both fine. Alicia is the "normal" way of spelling it I think, but the "y" makes it sound pretty :)

Well actually it would make it 'look' pretty as the pronunciation of both is the same ;)

I'd spell it Alicia. I did a quick Google of both:

Alicia received a total of 73,800,000 results
Alycia received a total of 1,110,000 results

hi
my friends middle name is spelt alycia but is prounounced very softly (alissia)
I think its lovely

Alicia

If you muck about with the spellings of names she'll forever be correcting people!

I like your unique way; Alycia

From reading your post, I've discovered that the US pronunciation of Alicia is different to the UK version!
Me and my OH were considering Alicia as a name for one of our babies.
We in the US pronouce it [Aleesha], whereas I believe you guys in the UK pronouce it [Allis-ea]

Whichever pronunciation, it's a beautiful name :)
