Well actually it would make it 'look' pretty as the pronunciation of both is the same

I'd spell it Alicia. I did a quick Google of both:

Alicia received a total of 73,800,000 results
Alycia received a total of 1,110,000 results

From reading your post, I've discovered that the US pronunciation of Alicia is different to the UK version!
Me and my OH were considering Alicia as a name for one of our babies.
We in the US pronouce it [Aleesha], whereas I believe you guys in the UK pronouce it [Allis-ea]

Whichever pronunciation, it's a beautiful name
