How have you hurt yourself?

Just wondered what injuries you have accidentally done to yourselves?

I've not broken anything *touch wood* so I'm quite boring really.
Got a bad burn on my arm once when I was a chef and a pizza landed upside down on my arm and all the hot cheese burned me...didn't scar though.

Countless scars on fingers, hands, arms and knees from general falling over and trying to survive If I get a scratch then it scars

Scar above my top lip from a dog biting me but I didn't do that so it doesn't count Scar on my hand from cutting myself on a broken bottle when I was a toddler. A scar from an operation.

Iv broken my arm once when on holiday in portugal, was on bumper cars, some stupid portugal guy bashed into me and it got caught in the steering wheel and snapped
Thought id broken my ankle once, but it was just badly sprained.

I rolled down a hill when I was younger and sliced all my arm open.
I stood on a nail which went through the foot.
I was dropped on a concrete step when I was a baby and nearly died.
I broke my leg when I was at a christening by banging it off the steps to the dancefloor.

As a toddler,
I went downstairs on my trike. My mum tried to catch me by the hair. I told the nursery staff she threw me down the stairs by my hair!

Oh I stabbed my foot with a garden fork

i stepped sideways out of a doorway and went on my foot on the side (if you get me) and broke it in 3 places, i had flip-flops on and i think my foot slid innit as the little step was about 2 inches tall ...and i was going to Bulgaria 10 days later and cut the plaster of (stupid, yes i know!) it was black and blue, size 10 approx and hurt like hell!

ohh yer, and i stood on a scraper,one of them triangle shaped ones as i was coming down a ladder, my dp had to pull it out.
i am certain there are a few more but cant think off the top of my head.

Oh when I was learning how to ride a bike without stablisers I kinda forgot how to stop,

I did that! Well sort of. I was on my new bike that my dad had fixed but didn't tell me the back wheel was buckled and I could see the wobble in the shadow so turned to look and ran into a parked car

never broken anything in my life but my worst was when i was 13 i got hit by a car. it hit my side and i flew up on the bonnet, smashed the windscreen with my arm and forward rolled off the bonnet onto the road it's horrible to remember, i just remember blood everywhere and paramedics putting me on a board and strapping me up.

i have a lot of scars from the smashed glass but didn't break anything i was so lucky

I have had a fall at 6 months which resulted in a 3 day hospital stay with a bang to the head.
At 2 a door slammed and the glass fell out and smashed on my head. Went to hospital and they suggested i got swimming to encourage the tiny bits to come out. That same day we went swimming and i fell over and cracked my head open!
When i used to sleep on the top bunk my cat used to sleep at the bottom. One night he decided to lay on my pillow which was overhanging the bed. I sat up coz he was annoying me which moved the weight on the pillows that the cat was standing on. The pillows fell off with cat, and he grabbed my face to save himself! So i have a scar on my bottom lip.
And other day to day clumsiness scars really.

The worst I've done is fall over and bounce my face off a concrete step, smashing a front tooth and splitting my face open.

But we just been thrown out of a pub having drunk about twelve gallons of brandy each, so it didn't hurt till the next day.

TBH day to day living scars me I am so easity marked and it turns out that Finlay is the same

Chipped/broken bones in my hands mostly from hitting things, 5th metacarpal on my right hand is actually deformed where it snapped and i left it for a few weeks before going to hospital.

Scar on my forehead from jumping into a table whilst carrying on with my brother. Left wrist is a mess from tearing it completely open flushing a toilet

Small scar on my foot from puttin a nail through it, scars on my legs from scratching them on my bed lol I did burn part of my finger and thumb off whilst welding but it seems fine now lol various other scars on my legs/arms/hands from knives.

Scar across one of my fingers from falling off my bmx and the edge of the handlebar gouging into the bone, 1 of my nail is also different where it got torn off rubbing between bike handlebars and a roughcast wall.

And as Bee just pointed out, ive got a scar the length of somewhere else from another bike accident

When I was in infants school I had just been dropped off by my Dad and was playing on the climbing frame in the yard before school had started for the day and fell off, possibly pushed off and broke my left arm. I was taken to hospital in the ambulance and they had to wait for my Dad to arrive at work to tell him what had happened. In hospital they needed to put me under to set the pot on my arm and the anesthetist asked me what I'd had for breakfast I told them I'd had cornflakes and milk so we had to wait 4 hours for my breakfast to digest before they could put me under. In reality I'd had nothing but thought I would be told off by my Dad for not eating breakfast

When I was living in Ibiza in 1998 I sprained my ankle horse riding

Ive had a few broken bones as a kid, mostly from playing football or climbing trees with the boys! The worst one though was a fall from my bike aged 7, racing home from school down the hill and catapulted over my bike and into the kerb! I made a right mess of my face, broke my nose and my jaw and scraped all the skin from my face, it was quite hideous I also chipped a bone in my hand at the same time, although that wasnt as bad as my face. I can still remember my mums face when she saw me, poor woman was heartbroken

Scar on my inner thigh when the brake lever went after I fell of my bike at 10 years old.

Smashed my front teeth and big scar on my chin when I fell flat on my face when 'tipsy' years ago.

Badly broke my ankle and leg in the Dominican republic (on my honeymoon) on a waterfall.

Stood on extremely hot hair tongs when I was a teenager, big blisters on the sole of my foot.

Probably loads more, I'm so accident prone my Dad calls me Calamity Jane.

Ahh my nickname was jelly legs (some would find a rather rude innuendo in that, but it was all quite innocent when I was little )

My worst injury ever was when I was running around the back garden, my dad shouted me and I tripped over the door mat and hurtled face first into the door step. Apparently my mum sat me on the unit, I had a little cry but there was no blood. Then I poked my tongue in the side of my mouth and it just popped and started profusely bleeding.
One of my earliest memories was sitting on my mums knee in Alder Hey and saying 'mummy there's a noodle in there!' I have no idea what the noodle was but it makes me feel sick to think of it now
Oh and not to mention this was a few hours before we went to Benidorm! Holiday got cancelled for a week and I couldn't go in the sand, sea or pool.. (still pics of me sitting in the sand though with butterfly stitches in my face, naughty mummy!)
