xena i can understand that one a bit more as it was an adult (*althought he shopkeeper knew her  ) but a two year old is just daft!

i guess if anything happened then they need to see faces on cctv even if only to eliminate people from enquiries - i think it would be fairly easy to spot which hoodie was the two year old though! he's the one just nicking the stuff from the bottom shelf as he cant reach the top one

wow harley has grown so much!

I must say I'm afraid of dior there - she might come and mug me in my sleep ;)

Asking the woman to take her hood down i can understand, because even though the shopkeeper knew her, they can't say "no hoods" and then make exception, otherwise more people would get offended. However, the shopkeeper could have said, look, i know you, i know you wont steal, but please could you set an example.

The toddler though... That's ridiculous. Even if the toddler *did* happen to pocket something, it'd be the parents they needed to identify anyway

ok the 2 year old it silly, but there is signs saying no hoods so obviously the 40 odd year old can read so unless it was raining in the shop she should of taken it off already

Mrs Robinson, of Geldof Road, explained: "I was going in for my morning paper. I had a lambs wool cardigan on with a hood over my tunic. It cost me nearly £100.

that really just shows she is a stuck up person that needs to add a price on the end of a sentance...does it matter how much it cost? what a dickhead...

We complain when young people are tarnished with the same brush "take your hoods down" when they are actually good kids, but when it happens to older people they complain that a different rule should apply to them! :wall:

jus a lil sad if you ask me....n they took it a lil too far with that 1 i think...

now that is the funniest stupidest thing i've hared this year :rotfl:
