Hello lovely ladies, we are finally home and what a relief it is! Firstly massive congrats to all the other ladies who have also popped, I can't wait to read your birth stories Secondly thank you so much Elaine (Paradysso) for being such a super and supportive text buddy
I am so relieved to finally be home with our little angel who is just gorgeous and truelly our little miracle. I never believed I could be so in love with something...my hubby and I are totally smitten
Unfortunately my birth experience didn't go exactly planned and was a painful and gruelling 27 hr stint ending in a ventouse delivery and a near emergency cesarean. I will explain all in my birth story as soon as I get a chance. Although I feel a bit bruised and battered it was all worth it in the end when our little Layla finally arrived.
A couple of piccies just from my phone (I'll post some better ones in my birth story):
