Hipp Fennel drink?....anyone given this?

Hiya

My LO is 4months & 1 week. We haven't started weening yet & LO has never had anything but boob & formula. Last week i dropped his last b/f and now we are just formuls feeding. As this is the case, i have been offering cooled boiled water a couple of times a day.....but he is having none of it! I am able to get a few gulps down him if i offer it just before a feed....as he thinks it is the milk coming I use Hipp stage 1 formula and while looking at their website, saw they sell 'Fennel' drink from 4months. From what i can make out, it is in a teabag form & a sort of herbal drink......I just wondered if anyone had used this? I had always imagined ONLY giving LO water (surely he wouldn't know any different?) but he just HATES it
Advice or opinions please!!

I got one of the bags free in a bounty pack! Cant use it yet so will be interested in the replies to see if other babies like it!
At 4 month, babies can have other "baby" drinks but I always mainly offered water still!
But there is juice etc you can buy from 4 months!

i give it to spud, tastes like anniseed, dont brew it for long tho...thought it would be better than juice, and she loves her water

I have just told my mum about it......and she said "oh yes, you LOVED fennel as a babe"......well it never did me any harm, so good enough for me, good enough for my LO!
