If you've got or get bad PMT take Evening Primrose oil capsules. My MIL recommended them & by God do they work :cheer:

If you want to have veg differently, cut the spud/butternut squash/sweet potato/ parsnip etc into small cubes and cook in a frying pan until soft then sprinkle a couple of vegetable Oxo cubes onto the veg and stir, wait until it starts to burn very slightly (becomes a bit crunchy) then serve, soooooooooooooooo yummy! :D

Anyone else got any hints & tips????

3 tablespoons of Linseed soaked overnight in water, and then eaten the next day with or without food, eases constipation :D

to get rid of hiccups - get someone to stand behind u and with their fingers press down those flappy bits on ur ears that some people pierce (not the lobes) so ur ears are sealed. then drink a glass of water, not too fast- and dont pause to breathe, u must drink it in one go. it always works!

to cool down in hot weather - get a cotton t-shirt (not one of your favourites though), dunk it in a sink of cold water, wring it out and wear it wet. as the warm air dries the material it will cool your skin.

oooh great thread!

another tip to cool down is run the underside of your wrists under cold water for a few mins.....try it.....it feels sooooooo good!

Tiger balm is amazing for anything and I always have a pot handy, its great for insect bites, MILD burns (such as catching your finger on the oven, nothing serious!) any kind of skin irritation, and you can also rub a little bit into your temples to ease a headache, put it on bruises to reduce the bruising, the list goes on!

when you finished with your clothes conditioner
fill the bottle with water and use it in your iron

oooh Really good ones, gonna have to save these :D

If you get a zit, mix a little lemon juice with salt and dab it on :)

in the nights your not washing your hair, put bubble bath in with you, it helps prevent soap scum :)

moan at him enough and he will make you that cup of tea you are after  :rotfl:

Never ever believe the following 2 sentantances
1 Your cheques in the post.
2 I wont C*m in your mouth

Ha :rotfl: :rotfl: sorry couldnt resist

Best thing for nappy rash = vaseline

If your hair is looking kinda greasy but you have to go out in a hurry and don't have time to wash it, then put some talcum powder on your brush. Then hang your head forward so all your hair is flopping down, and brush your hair with the talced brush whilst upside down.
When you put yourself back the right way round again your hair will be very poofy and flyaway but it won't be looking so greasy anymore. Then just kinda brush it down a little (but don't overdo it on the brushing down otherwise you'll just make it look greasy again) and bobs your uncle.

failing that you can always use dry-shampoo but I find that the talc method works better.

Always check prawns for poo

It is infact possible to wear a pair of knickers or a sock as a hair-bobble

I can't think of any more right now haha.
