Im browsing cos I wanna get one for Morgan before I start weaning, just so hes used to being in it before we start. And he wants to be sat up or held alllllll the time at the min so he can see whats going on, I cant get anything done without hearing him shout for me

I thought if I get a high chair I could sit him in it and get on with the washing up/cooking and talk to him.

Obviously Im looking for one with good support so Ive been online looking all weekend and Ive fallen in love with one I cant afford

hun ur red kite one is only £100 in asda! u needa shop around hehe! also the redkite ultimo in asda is £60 is AMAZING reclines for younger kids and all and is lush xxx

hmm i did look at the redkite ultimo too, its on my shortlist. just read the asda reviews, all 5 stars! Does your LO seem quite well supported sitting in it? a lot of them have these massive wide backs that i can just see LO sliding down to one side

tbh chick i have the chicco happy snack and my lo was great in it i have the bright circles one... its my sil who has the ultimo altho it was me recommended it... her lo slouches in everything BUT ive never seen her slouch in that so im not 100% sure but it looked amazing to me alsooo i know a lot of people that put rolled up towel down either side??? xxx

i loooved that cosatto but my oh was looking at the 300 pound one with leather seats not even sure what make it is haha!! i mean the highchairs are used every bit as much if not more than pram lmao and shud do more than one child but i just didnt wanna spend hundreds lol xx

yeah I know bout the rolled up towel thing, some of them tho, its like theyre so wide you dont have anything to wedge a towel against

Chicco Pollymagic. I have the Magic sea dreams one for Ethan but they have sold out of that one on kiddicare. I have had it since he was really small and it's great. It gives him excellent support as it's got an extra insert for newborns and and then another insert for them when there just starting to want to sit, it reclines too. The great thing about it is it has an activity arch - invaluable when you want to get on with chores in the kitchen. Negatives is it's quite big but i always keep mine in one place so not really a big deal. My friend bought one for her baby after seeing mine!

yeah that chicco one is great tooo its like the better version of mine but i had Madison in hers from like 3 months and no probs at all and she will not use the recline so i never bothered as id already tried her in my friends which was same of mine.... i waffled there soz lol i think the redkite ultimo does everyting pollymagic does i hafta say i bought mine cos i wanted basket underneath lol :s lmao xx

thankyou, its been added to the shortlist :yay:

Yeah the basket does come in handy! i keep a few bibs in mine and wipes :)

ah thats really cute. I love the pattern!

I ended up ordering this one :yay: I cant wait for it to arrive, it looks realy supportive, Im really looking forward to putting him in it so that he can sit up and play while I get on with stuff. Today he was trying to do situps for ages then flopping his head back down and going "humph" before trying again  that boy really is desparate to get going!
