Hi guys! I just thought i would introduce myself to the group. My name is Louise i am 31 and been married to my best friend for 3 years this Halloween. Previously we have had two losses and it hit me hard and hubby. We are in the club of if it happens it happens with ttc. We had drunken fun for his birthday and now its been 12 days since my missed period. Had all the signs, sore boobs, tingly nipples, stomach has felt heavy, light headache, metallic taste in mouth (comes and goes) after all these signs i have tested and all tests have been negatives. I just wish i knew for sure. I have been reading loads of posts on here and other places and if my af is not here then i am still in with a chance so i hope the witch stays away and i get my positive. Anyway hi again and i hope to speak to us all soon. x

Hi Kaz thanks very much for replying. It hit us really bad but we are definitely ready to start a family now. Just hate the waiting. Feels like everyone else around me is pregnant, just wish it was my turn. I may add i had given up about getting pregnant when me and hubby had drunken fun and i really do feel different and just need that positive to confirm that i am not batty lol. It hit us hard when we lost an i was the same everyo e round me was pregnant an i found it very hard but it can happen and will happen i think u know urself u feel different an although im not supposed to drink alcohol because of a genetic condition i had a couple two weeks in a row celebrating getting thru first two outings wi pipeband an i think carrying on as normal really helped - nice to meet u too xx

Some times you just need to let your hair down. I had a drink last week at my friends engagement party (had a few) its just doing my head in not knowing if i am or not. Not been drinking coffee ( me and hubby are coffee heads) having tea instead and trying to watch what i eat just now just in case. The last time i tested was 8 days missed af and now i am 12 and last night i had a metallic taste in mouth. It is soo hard when you have losses i am glad i have found this group. Take care. x

I had the metallic taste very early on with both (not with the one i lost though) and the exhaustion was unreal i think this time i knew i was but due to the loss i was in denial

I have it all day with the metallic taste. I have had mints and things and its still there. Purchased a first response test to try tomorrow with first pee and hopefully it will be good news. Glad i joined. x

Go see your gp
They can do bloodtests
Say you feel pregnant but not showing on hpts and your af is late xx

I dont wanna alarm you but keep an eye out for any signs of ectopic
Sometimes it can cause negative hpts xx

Thanks everyone. Well update since missing period. We're do I start. The Tuesday there I was feeling very tired had brown discharge had tested in the morning still negative. Thought when I seen the brown discharge it was the start of af. Turns out when I woke on the Wednesday with really bad pain and flow was bad I ended up going to the docs and it was confirmed there that I was going through a miscarriage totally gutted. Me and hubby are ok but hurt it's happened again. Got a check up in two weeks time to see how I am. Lying in bed just now feeling sorry for myself. I will be ok though. I hope us all getm the positives you deserve. X
