We're okay, Ryans doing fine apart from his feeding. Im still worried about what might be wrong with him but only time will tell, I dont care what problems he has or how it might affect him growing up, I'll still love him to bits! Its just such a shock when all your scans throughout pregnancy are clear and you expect things to be perfect but it doesnt turn out that way. The past week has been the toughest week of my life, just seeing him lying with tubes and needles in him with doctor after doctor telling me they dont have answers yet.

I had polyhydramnios at the end of my pregnancy (which can be caused by abnormalities in the baby), Ryan was a big baby and he has hypotonia and feeding problems. He has a simian crease on his right hand and always has glucose in his urine. Thats what the doctors have got to work with and they still cant tell me whats wrong.

I feel lucky in a way, a baby girl in the cot next to Ryans in SCBU had all sorts of problems and abnormal test results, seeing her parents crying made me realise that although things could be better, they could also be alot worse so Im just hanging onto that thought and praying that when we get chromosome tests done they're normal
