Hi everyone, just signed upto this wonderful forum!
I'm Laura, 23 years old, and expecting my first child with long term partner (7years!) in October on the 18th! According to the scan we are going to have a girl, which im chuffed about! Been thinking of names, but nobody likes the ones i chose.. I have to make sure mine and the OH's parents like the names, apparently.

I agree, don't choose a name for other people, only you and your OH matter. I won't even tell anyone other me, OH and my daughter our names, I can't cope with the 'but you can't call the poor thing that', that you will always get from someone! Even daughter pulled a face at our name for a boy until I reminded her, she was the one who found it!
