Help with scan pic plz

Ok it's official i'm a bit dim lol

Have a scan pic (taken on a mobile as couldn't get scanner to work) and uploaded it to photobucket, tried posting but was too big (got error message about it) so have resized it and tried again, previewed it and it shows up but its huge so doesn't show detail, have tried resizing it again but gets no smaller. Apart from it lacking detail when its bigger I don't want to take up board space when peeps viewing it iykwim as it goes right across screen!

Any suggestions?

You can click "resize" in photo bucket and pick what size you want. I think mine are always around 600 pixels ish
