aww i feel the same, the last 2 weeks have been like that, and it seems to be wearing off now, i feel sick for about an hour when i first wake up, i know we can't have much caffeine but a cup of sweet tea helps me, also having a little snack can settle you down too, i know when you feel sick you don't want to eat, but a little something does help. also herbal tea, i found camomile and apple works well.

i hope it passes and you feel better soon

Thanks Louears, I just made myself some cereal actually and it has made me feel a bit better. I've read things before about women eating their way through morning sickness it feels like it will make you worse but then it's alright...

My husband drank a bottle of red wine last night and he's fine and I feel :puke: I hate him!

I'm the same hun, mine starts when I wake up and dies down at around 1/2pm :( Unfortunately my one year old doesnt understand that Mummy feels sick and still insists on playing/jumping all over me :shakehead:  I have bought Arrowroot biscuits and nibble on them. Dont think it does anything but makes me feel like I'm trying to take it away

you are very welcome :) it is strange, you do think if you feel sick the last thing you want is food, it is amazing how it settles you, glad the cereal worked. my other half was drinking guinness last night and he is fine too, i was never a drinker anyway so it doesn't bother me that he can drink and i can't, but yes, we hate them, they can carry on as normal, and not feel sick. they have it so easy.

oh no sorry ladies

i would keep something by your bed like ginger biscuits and nibble on them as soon as you wake cos apparently hunger makes it worse. awful feeling. i haven't been feeling nauseous but feel hungover and thick headed if you get me.

Congratulations on your BFP.
I have been checking to see how you are doing and i have to have missed that post
Sickness is awful... Mine has just gone. It will pass. Try ginger beer/ale
So excited for you :cheer:

My sis had terrible sickness well into 20 weeks  She had a packet of rich tea biscuits next to the bed and before she even sat up she'd eat one, it helps. Eat little and often too. And the biggest thing that helped her was wearing travel sickness bands. Midwife told her about them, they sit on the pressure point on your wrists and she said it did ease it. hope you feel better soon

I havent got it yet, but I do remember with Oli I had it from around 6-9weeks.

I felt very sick all the time, day and night. I fizzy water helped (cant stand the stuff though now) arrowroot biscuits, pringles  and just eating small amounts often throughout the day.

Hey Ejjie.
I'm sooo happy for u that u finally got the sickness u were waiting for :rotfl: I know u want to hit me.
well I got sickness too since a week now and everyday it's getting worse and the worst part is I have it all day long ! the only time I feel better is when I am asleep, then when I turn toward Dh I get soo sick as I can smell smoke :puke: lool. and it all starts again.
I hate it when some one tells me, (it's only 3 months and it will go away) yeah right one day feels like a month by itself!!

I think anything ginger is supposed to help hun - you can get some nice ginger teas (or make your own with fresh ginger and hot water). Peppermint sometimes works as well

Sorry you're feeling so poorly but glad for you at the same time (if that makes sense)

I'm lucky that I'm only getting it until lunchtime really...I should count my blessings! I was worrying today about being sick at work tomorrow so I'll take some biscuits to bed with me tonight and eat before I get up. I'm going to be such a fat piggy by 12 weeks I really hope the sickness doesn't go on for the whole pregnancy... :rotfl:

Aw Lisa I'm so sorry for you xxx

I've found fruit's been quite good for me, and ginger beer. Everyone's different aren't they?

Rooibos tea works for me - it's herbal so you can have as much as you like. Mine's getting better now I've figured out what and when to eat, but it was awful from weeks 6 to 8! The Rooibos really makes the nausea subside though. Hope it gets better soon - although then you'll probably be worrying that it's gone, like I do on the 'good' days! :wall: :wall:
