hiya, i seem to posting soo much lately.
i need to get amy feeding from the bottle as i have promised to do a waitressing job on the 20th and cant take her with me. i didnt think this would be a problem as she has drank from a bottle before but now she flatly refuses. any ideas? i have tried every different type of teat, different people, all sorts but she just wont do it. and suggestions? i really need to do this job and she wont last without a feed inbetween.

some things I have tried

getting someone else to feed her from the bottle so she can't smell your milk
doing it when she is tired, babies are more likely to suckle when they are tired.
doing it before she is too hungry so about half an hour before usual feed

hope it helps, Cally was the same and didn't accept a bottle till she could hold it herself the little madam.

i agree on the trying someone else to feed her, maybe without you in the room?. Joshua will take a bottle of ebm from anyone at anytime except me, he just messes about with the teat, pushes it out and roars and won't take it if i am in the room as he still smells me.
the other thing we discovered was that if the bottle wasn't far enough into his mouth he faffed about so maybe make sure it is right in and she has a latch on it so to speak?
