Hi all,

thanks for the lovely congrats thread. Sorry I haven't been on for long.

Birth was very traumatic for me. I'll post my birth story soon in the new announcements section. Most of the problems were caused by understaffing and I bore the consequences!

Anyway, we have a beautiful baby boy who is just a joy to look after. I don't even mind when he wakes in the night cause I get to see him again! He is so alert and wide eyed and I can't believe he's mine!

Breastfeeding is going well although I panicked when my milk came in. The feeling is just so weird and alien and no-one prepares you for it!

Hubbie is currently trying to settle him as I think he's a little over tired today!

He was 7lb 8.5oz so not that big really for a baby that was 2 weeks overdue!

Just goes to show, the scans are not accurate at all. I had one at 34 weeks and they predicted an 8 pounder.
