Hello

I don't really know, personally if it were me I'd rather move now but then I'm highly organised and so forth. I'd hate to have to move while also having to care for a newborn and arrange his things urgently for nappy changes and so forth, plus the decorating etc can be done now and fume free etc before little one made his arrival. It you pack well (everything with labels and so forth) I personally think it would be easier to do minus a baby...I know you can't lift and really help with the donkey work (that's what the men are for!) but ensuring you have a bag of tea, sugar, toilet roll, soap, teatowel etc for instant use makes things easlier upon arrival and unpacking highly organised boxes should be easy. Invest in things like bubble wrap for china plates/cups etc as it will save you washing them all once you do arrive if they were wrapped in newspaper or similar. I know if my husband asked me whether I'd prefere to move today or in September once baby is here that I'd say today. Personal choice though...I know it can be stressful but only really if you let it be. Depends on the type of person you are I suppose. Good luck xx

Personally I think I'd wait till after the baby is born.

I have moved house 12 times with my parents and 4 times as an adult. I hated it every time even when I wasn't doing the selling or packing! It's a stressful time what with people coming in/out of your home and then there's all the legal/money worries. You can probably do without that in the last trimester of pregnancy.

Just my opinion. :) Hope it helps.

Hi Babyroo. I moved house on 5th March and I was 14 weeks. I just stayed out of the way. My Husband and sister did all the packing and cleaning and we got a removal company to do the actual move. It was a bit stressfull - we didn't get the keys till 5pm!!!!!

But all in all it was fine and I'm glad that I'll be settled in my new house by the time wee one gets here.

Good luck with the house hunting and the selling.
