Hello there everyone!
First of all, can I just say that it's great to join such a great site, especially one that's UK based - that's very rare! Secondly, I can't wait to join in discussions with you all (although obviously not at the same time!!)
So..Me. I'm Jen, 24 years old and a first time Mummy to baby Emily who's now six and a half weeks old. I live in Llandudno, North Wales where I work in a shop's cafe and myself and Emily live with my parents. I'm a single Mummy after my ex decided that he didn't want anything to do with me after I told him I was pregnant. He's seen her several times since we came home, although all but once he's bought either his mother or his aunt with him.
Emily was born by emergency c-section after they discovered I had developed an infection due to my waters breaking nearly 40 hours previous. Not only that, but she had poo'ed inside of me (urgh) and she was also back to back inside of me. By the time they decided to operate, I was only six cms dilated and had a temperature of nearly 40 degrees.
Anyway, I'm sure we will get along fine and look forward to talking to you all soon.
