Hi girls,
Just a quick hello as I move over here today :) can't believe I'm here already!!!!!

Oh and I'm awake because I can't stop itching all over ewwww!

X

Hey Pinkymum - good to see you over here. It all seems to start feeling very real when you realise that you are in tri 3! Re: the itching - check it out with your midwife. I had itchy soles of feet and had to have a liver function test for obstetric colestasis (think there is a link about it at the top of the page in third tri).

Anyhoo - welcome - not long to go now!

I know can't believe we're here already! Yep my soles and palms have been a bit itchy too, i'll speak to mw when I see her in a couple of weeks. Did your bloods come back normal? X

welcome, and i have been itching like mad too i made my hands and legs bleed, only place that wasn;t itchy was my tummy, midwife checked my bloods and my liver was fine, i went to see gp to get some cream to help and she said that you can itch with being anaemic but if its not gone in 2 weeks now i'm on 3 iron tablets a day then they will check my liver again because with the itching i getting they want to keep a close eye on me. are you seeing midwife soon i went at 27 weeks instead of 28 because of painful braxton hicks, they will be fine if you bring your appointment forward a week and mention the itching to them.

Thanks hun, I'm seeing her a week on Monday, tbh I don't like her much so don't really want to call her. The itching was worse last night I'm hoping I'm not anemic cos I was for years and its only been the last 2 years I haven't had to take horrible iron tablets. X
