Hello again

Just a quick hello again and apology for my absence.....we switched broadband providers and although one was supposed to disconnect when the other one connected it didn't happen like that (what a surprise) so been offline for a week....hope I've not missed too much!

Oh and I'm 19 weeks today...where is time going?

Hiya Nicola welcome back

I know exactly what you meant about the time flying in Tri1 it seemed to drag but now in tri2 its flying by - in 10 days time I will be 20 weeks and I really can't belive it.

Congrats on reaching 19 weeks Nicola. Not long at all now until you are half way.

Of course I missed you all!!

My next scan is the 30th March (will actually be 21 weeks then) but I have a midwife appointment on the 20th - my 20 week chat/appointment etc, i.e. blood pressure, pee in a bottle and come out feeling that it was pointless!

T1 sure did drag....T2 is flying past, smurf were so close in dates I'm 7 days away from 'half way' and then I suppose it's more a count down till birth than a count up to the half way marker.....and just imagine if we have our babies even a week early were already half way there now!! Very exciting indeed!!

Hiya,

Feeling ok just now actually....suffering on and off with bad headaches but they are easing off. A fortnight or so ago they would kill me for hours on end, I'd go to sleep and wake up with it twice as bad, I had my eyes tested, increased the water I was drinking but nothing helped. I have a theory that it's a hormone thing but my midwife seemed to think not . Anyway I still get them each day but they last seconds. Everso strange, will mention it once more to the midwife on the 20th when I see her!! Other than that feeling ok, getting a bigger bump now and just enjoying every second although I'm so impatient to have my little boy here already!! Do you know what your having yet? Do you plan on finding out?

I think that is going to be one of those niggly things for you that may not subside until after the baby is born - i too suffered with terrible headaches but luckily more fluids cured that.

My bump is coming along nicely, not too defined yet though. I am only 8 stone and petite so as with my last pregnancy I am suffering with back problems, it just can't take the strain.

Unfortunatley, where I live they won't tell you the sex - don't ask why! I am dying to find out though. My DH would love a boy. With Kyra, I knew all along she was a girl, but i'm not getting a vibe with this bump yet.

I have my 2nd scan on the 27th... what about you?

Thanks for all the welcomes....gosh I miss a week and look what I have to catch up on!!

Wend: The nursery is coming along great, decorated, little bits going on the walls now etc, it's so cute. Once I'm finished decorating with mirrors, wall letters etc I'll post pics!

BX: Sent you a PM! Wonder why they won't tell you the gender, that's so wierd....oh and wish I was just 8 stone pre-preg more like 18 for me and 28 now I'm pregnant Slight exageration but you know what I mean!!

Tangerine: Tell me about it, AOL was supposed to continue service till the 14th but they cut us off on the 9th...boo I couldn't get online. Sky took over yesterday lunchtime, I'm still playing catch-up!! Next m/w appointment is the 20th, my 21 week scan is the 30th

Thanks for all the get better headache wishes....they are better if they come on they only last a second or two anyway and are less frequent. Hopefully things are settling down now!
